3 ways to start loving yourself the way you deserve to be loved

If you’re anything like me, you have been through a shit ton of toxic relationships. If not, consider yourself fortunate to escape that path of destruction! I found myself giving way too much of myself & left with nothing when it all came crumbling down, leaving me with a ton of broken pieces on the ground that only I could pick up and put back together. But you see, that is the beauty in the breakdown. There ARE SUCH gifts that come along with heartbreak. One them being learning self-love.

I’m going to give you a few little nuggets on how to love yourself more. Each day, challenge yourself to one of these tasks...continue with just that one task for the week OR add another the following day & then another & another. I promise, you will be on your way to not only self-love but self-discovery and SO much more!

In no particular order;

  • Mirror work. Wake up and look yourself in the mirror & something nice. I even challenge you to say ’I love you’ and FEEL it...MEAN it!

  • Take time for yourself. Whatever healthy habit it may be that you enjoy most, take at least 20 mins of your day for you & this joy.

  • Change your diet. Treat your body as a temple. What goes inside is literally what’s inside! Make it beautiful! (I highly recommend meditation, yoga or reading a good book!)

Whether it be from never being given the tools in your emotional toolbox to know how to give yourself what you need, bad relationships or just wanting to gain knowledge on learning to love yourself...start TODAY! You deserve it!
